How I can download the woodwork library feature?

I was looking exactly for this! Trying, at any cost, to find a way to make a sheet metal spiral around a cylinder. Using surfaces finally allowed me to flatten the pattern. Thanks!

I come back to this tutorial probably every couple years to not get rusty and remind myself that surfaces in solidworks are not as terrible as everybody and their mother tells me they are. I mostly use plain solid parametric design as a mold designer and the only surfaces i use day to day are boring patches for mold forms or occasionally i need to patch holes in customer models so they work with the cavity feature. It is still the same blast to follow and design along each time as it was the first time. I wish every tutorial was this casual and fun to follow. Thank you for this gem of a tutorial!

It's not prefect.

For anyone wondering about the dowels, you can't add them into an assembly. They have to be inserted into a prt. So many people doing cabinets draw the whole dresser or ect. As one part file. Drag and drop the dowel cuts, then save bodies and create assembly to get the result.

Doesn't work. You cannot do what it shows in the sweep command. You cannot select sweep and then draw lines.

I think SW should have some feature that allows a user to insert a spring and have it contract via plans or something....
